The Escalante Family received the Good Intention funds for our second month and they chose to contribute them to several organizations. I will let their own words tell the story:
"My mom and I went to the store to buy school supplies for the School Supply Drive at my family's church. The School Supply Drive encourages the church's members to collect school supplies for the Lamia Foundation. This foundation donates school, supplies to local schools in Afghanistan, so children can get the right supplies for their education. I'm glad that we took the time to help children get education in Afghanistan, so one day they will have a great future."

"My mom and my sister went to a store to buy school supplies for a school supply drive in our church. the ministers are always telling us to donate school supplies so we did and all those supplies were part of the Lamia Foundation and were sent to schools in need in Afghanistan. With the other half of our money, we donated it to the Hoops for Hope Foundation that I went to. This foundation helps orphaned kids in Africa and builds schools in Africa."
